Community of Practice - Regional Digital Inclusion

Bringing together people from across the Humber & North Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership area who have a shared interest in raising awareness of digital exclusion and a desire to take meaningful action to tackle the digital divide within the region by sharing insight, ideas, challenges and information to learn from each other, avoid duplication of services and resources. 

Background: Digital Inclusion Network Project (November 2022 to March 2024)

In November 2022 HNY HCP commissioned Humber Wolds & Rural Action to work on a two year project to establish p a Digital Inclusion Network across the region. Though the project funding ended in March 2024, the final report recommendations were to continue the network - full report findings can be downloaded below.

In the summer of 2024, HEY Smile Foundation was asked by the HNY HCP to approach existing members to see whether there was an appetite to re-establish the network and continue in some form. 

In July the launch meeting took place via Teams,  attended by many of the original network members and a handful of new faces from across the region keen to be involved in some way.  Meeting minutes are available for download below.
