Criminal Justice
People who have been involved in the criminal justice system often have poor health because they might have faced tough living conditions, like homelessness or poverty, before or after their involvement. They may also have experienced violence, mental health issues, or substance abuse. Additionally, they often don't get regular medical care while in the system and might find it hard to access healthcare services once they're out. These challenges combine to impact their overall health negatively.
