Domestic Abuse
Domestic abuse can happen to anyone, regardless of age, gender, sexuality, race, or background. It can be committed by a partner or ex-partner, or family member, in an existing or previous relationship.
The DVAP Service
The Domestic Violence and Abuse Partnership (DVAP) service offers confidential support to anyone living with, or fleeing from, domestic violence and abuse in the East Riding. We also help anyone who wants to change their abusive behaviour.
The DVAP service also provides advice for practitioners and other professionals, to help them understand how to recognise domestic abuse, and how to make referrals to the Domestic Violence and Abuse Partnership (DVAP) service.
