The Collective replaces the former Beverley Partnership meetings (previously managed by Active Communities).

How we’ll run things

Quarterly meetings 2-hour sessions Hybrid option available Rotating venues across the area

Highlights from the first meeting

The group agreed an agenda format (welcome, introductions, speaker session, and networking) and surfaced future topics we’re keen to explore together:

• Funding opportunities & collaboration on bids
• Safeguarding updates and sharing best practice
• Training needs: mental health, IT basics, CV support
• Volunteer support and links with local schools
• Exploring the Social Value Engine to measure impact

Our shared vision

We’ll draft a simple Terms of Reference and mission statement that keep the Collective inclusive, accessible and collaborative—clarifying the role of members and how we support each other.

Actions we’re taking

• Invite a speaker to introduce the Social Value Engine
• Share safeguarding/forum updates across the network
• Upload members’ info/events to a shared platform (co-ordinated by HEY Smile)
• Explore training offers for staff & volunteers
• Confirm dates and locations for future quarterly meetings
