Free Training to Help Tackle Gambling-Related Harm in Our Communities

Local VCSE organisations have access to fully funded training aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of gambling-related harm. 

These sessions help staff and volunteers recognise the signs, understand the impact on wellbeing, and confidently support individuals who may be affected.

Alongside this, NECA is encouraging groups to join their Gambling-Related Harms Champions initiative. Champions act as a point of contact within their organisation, helping share resources, raise awareness, and link people to specialist support. NECA provides all training, materials, and ongoing opportunities to connect with other Champions through regular networking sessions.

These opportunities are ideal for anyone working in community settings who wants to strengthen their ability to support vulnerable individuals.
