Registered charities supporting people through life's most challenging moments are being encouraged to apply for the cardfactory Foundation's Local Community Fund, which is offering £10,000 unrestricted grants to charities across the UK.

The Foundation is committed to supporting organisations that make a real difference to people and communities at the moments they need it most, helping charities continue delivering vital services where they are needed most.

What Can the Funding Be Used For?

Unlike many grant programmes, the Local Community Fund provides unrestricted funding.

This means successful charities can use the funding wherever it is needed most within their organisation, helping to strengthen long-term sustainability rather than funding a single project.

The Foundation believes this flexible approach enables charities to respond to changing needs while reducing the administrative burden often associated with restricted grants

Funding Available

Successful applicants will receive:

  • £10,000 unrestricted funding
  • A single grant payment to support the ongoing work of the organisation

  • Have an annual income of up to £3 million
  • Have been operating for at least 18 months
  • Can provide their latest published annual accounts

The Foundation is particularly keen to support smaller, local charities, where a £10,000 grant can make a significant difference.

  • Families experiencing long-term financial hardship.
  • People facing sudden hardship or crisis, such as homelessness, domestic abuse or bereavement.
