VCSE

East Yorkshire Parent Carer Forum continues to deliver a fantastic programme of events for parents and carers across the East Riding, creating welcoming spaces for people to connect, share experiences and access support.

These sessions are a great opportunity for organisations to engage directly with families, offer guidance and build meaningful relationships within the community. The Forum has invited partners and VCSE organisations to attend where possible, helping to strengthen the support available to local parents and carers.

Why this matters

For VCSE organisations, these events provide a valuable opportunity to connect with parents and carers, better understand local need and ensure families are aware of the support available to them.

They also offer a chance to contribute to important conversations, including the ongoing White Paper discussions, helping to ensure lived experience is reflected in future decision-making.

Get involved

If you are able to attend any of the sessions, the Forum welcomes your involvement. Letting them know in advance will also help them to promote your attendance to parents and carers.

These spaces are built on collaboration, and continued partnership working is key to making sure families across East Yorkshire feel supported, informed and heard.
