VCSE

In the VCSE sector, we’re often focused on supporting others — but how often do we stop to check in on our own health?

Why your numbers matter

Understanding your blood pressure (BP) and cholesterol levels is a vital step in preventing cardiovascular disease (CVD). High BP and cholesterol often show no symptoms, yet they significantly increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes. Knowing your numbers means you can take action early — through lifestyle changes, medication, or accessing support services.
