Heritage Open Days return with a spotlight on Architecture, inviting you to explore Bridlington’s rich mix of historic buildings—each with its own story, style and past use.

Celebrating William Kent

Bridlington also proudly celebrates William Kent, born here around 1684 in The Old Town Gallery. Kent became one of the most influential architects and landscape designers of his era, credited with works such as Rousham House and Gardens (Oxfordshire), Holkham Hall (Norfolk) and Horse Guards in London.
