Help Connect Adults with Learning Disabilities to Local Support

Do you support adults with learning disabilities, their families, or carers?

Angela Norsworthy from Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is currently organising a series of marketplace-style events in Goole, Beverley, Hull and Bridlington, designed to help adults with learning disabilities and their support networks discover local services, groups and opportunities available to them.

VCSE organisations, community groups and service providers that offer specialist support or inclusive activities are invited to get involved. Whether you'd like to host a stall, attend the events, or simply find out more, Angela would be pleased to hear from you.

Angela is also looking for accessible venues in the above locations to host the events. Suitable venues should have basic refreshment facilities (such as access to a kettle and water), capacity for up to 100 attendees, and ideally some outdoor space, although this is not essential.
