What do you value about Goole?

What makes you proud of the town

What changes or opportunities would make the greatest difference locally?

People who live, work, volunteer or study in Goole are being invited to share what matters most to them through the new GOOLE MATTERS survey.

HEY Smile Foundation is working with Howden & District Rotary Club to listen to local residents and develop a clearer understanding of the priorities, ideas and aspirations within Goole’s communities.

Following the recent £25 million investment in Goole, the survey looks beyond major developments to explore what matters at a hyper-local level. We want to hear what people value about the town, what makes them proud and what improvements or opportunities would make the greatest difference to everyday life.

The survey is open to:

  • Goole residents
  • Community groups and voluntary organisations
  • Schools and young people
  • Local services and businesses
  • Anyone with a connection to the town

Feedback from the survey will help inform future community projects, funding priorities and local action. The more people who take part, the stronger and more representative the findings will be.

We would also be grateful if local organisations, groups and community leaders could share the survey through their networks and encourage others to participate.

The survey will feature in the Goole Times, and paper copies will also be made available for people who would prefer to respond offline.

This is an opportunity to celebrate what is already valued about Goole while helping to shape future priorities for the town.

Please take part and help ensure that as many local voices as possible are heard.
