Celebrate Older People Week 2026 in Cottingham

As part of Older People Celebration Week 2026, Cottingham Parish Council is proud to host a special community event celebrating older people and the valuable contribution they make to our communities.

The event will bring together a range of organisations, community groups, and support services, providing information, advice, and opportunities for older people, their families, and carers to discover what is available locally.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of fun activities and entertainment throughout the day while exploring services designed to support wellbeing, independence, and community connection. Everyone is welcome to attend and there is no need to book.

This is a fantastic opportunity for local residents, carers, volunteers, and VCSE organisations to come together, celebrate later life, and strengthen community connections.
