Help Shape a New LGBTQ+ Peer Support Group in Hull and East Riding

 Have your say and help shape a new LGBTQ+ peer support group for Hull and East Riding residents.

A new peer support group for LGBTQ+ people is being developed in Hull, and local residents are invited to help shape what it looks like by completing a short survey. The group is being created as part of the Yorkshire Queer Minds project, delivered by Mesmac, a charity providing sexual and mental health services across Yorkshire.

The new group will provide a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ people who may be experiencing challenges with their mental health, identity, relationships, or feelings of isolation. It aims to help people connect with others, share experiences, increase knowledge, and build a sense of community. The group will be based in Hull and will be open to residents from both Hull and the East Riding.

To ensure the group meets the needs of local people, Yorkshire Queer Minds is seeking feedback through a short survey. Whether you think you might attend the group yourself or would like to support its development, your views are valued.
