VCSE

Families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are invited to take part in a series of free creative sessions in Pocklington this summer.

Delivered by Thunk-It Theatre, these fun, welcoming drop-in sessions are designed for young people aged 6–16 years and offer a safe space to explore creativity, build confidence and make new friends through drama, games, crafts and imaginative play.

Each session has a different theme, giving children the opportunity to express themselves, develop new skills and most importantly – have fun.

Session Dates

All sessions take place at Pocklington Arts Centre:

  • Tuesday 28 July – 1:00pm to 2:30pm
  • Friday 31 July – 10:00am to 11:30am
  • Tuesday 4 August – 1:00pm to 2:30pm
  • Friday 7 August – 10:00am to 11:30am
  • Tuesday 11 August – 1:00pm to 2:30pm
  • Friday 14 August – 10:00am to 11:30am

Parents and carers are welcome to stay on-site during the sessions, with a designated refreshments area available.

These sessions are free to attend, thanks to the Positive Activities Inclusive Grant from East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

If you have a child or young person who would enjoy getting creative in a supportive and inclusive environment, why not sign up and give it a try?
