Ferry Good Friends: Friendship, Support and Connection for People Living with Dementia
Living with dementia can sometimes feel isolating, but local community groups can provide invaluable opportunities for friendship, understanding and peer support. One such group making a difference in our area is Ferry Good Friends, a welcoming peer support group for people living with dementia.
The group offers a relaxed and friendly environment where people can come together, share experiences, build friendships and enjoy social interaction with others who understand the challenges and realities of living with dementia. Peer support groups can play an important role in helping people maintain confidence, independence and connections within their community.
When and Where?
Ferry Good Friends meets on the second Tuesday of every month from 6:30pm until approximately 8:00pm at:

Who Can Attend?
The group is specifically aimed at people living with dementia and provides a safe, supportive and welcoming space to meet others, share stories and enjoy good company. New members and supporters are warmly welcomed. As the group's slogan says:
"Supporters welcome – It's your round!"
