The East Yorkshire Parent Carer Forum (EYPCF) has a fantastic programme of workshops, information sessions and peer support events taking place throughout June. Whether you're looking for practical advice, specialist SEND information, or simply the opportunity to connect with other parent carers, there's something for everyone.
Understanding Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)

Join EYPCF for a parent-focused workshop exploring Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). This supportive session will help parents and carers better understand what EBSA is, why it happens, and how to advocate effectively for their child.

Cuppa & Chat – Hornsea

Knowledge, Information & Support Workshop for Forces Families
- Thursday 18 June
- 4:00pm – 8:00pm
- DST Leconfield, Beverley, HU17 7LX
EYPCF is working alongside local armed forces personnel to deliver a dedicated workshop for forces families living on or off base who have, or suspect they may have, a child or young person with SEND.
The workshop will cover:
- The SEND legal framework and Code of Practice
- Identification and assessment of needs
- Termly support plans and outcomes
