UK registered charities can apply for small grants from The CPF Trust to support charitable work across a range of themes.

Grants are usually between £1,000 and £3,000 and can support either project costs or core costs.


What Can Be Funded?

The CPF Trust mainly supports charities working in the following areas:

  • The arts
  • Education
  • Support for carers and older people
  • Early intervention projects for disadvantaged children and young people
  • Animal welfare
  • Health and disability

Trustees will consider applications for revenue or capital costs, as well as project or core funding. Grants are awarded for one year only.

Who Can Apply?

Applications are open to UK registered charities. Applicants must include their charity number when applying.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted by email and should be no more than 500 words in total.

Applicants should include:

  • Charity name and registered charity number
  • A short description of the charity
  • The amount requested
  • How the grant would be used and the anticipated impact
  • Contact details for the person responsible for the application

Applicants should also attach their 

  • latest annual report or impact report 
  •  latest accounts.  (short form preferred)

Deadline

Applications are accepted between 1 June and 30 September 2026.
