VCSE organisations across the UK can now apply for grants of up to £5,000 through the Cellnex Community Fund, supporting projects that strengthen communities, improve local environments and promote digital inclusion.

About the Fund

The Cellnex Community Fund is focused on supporting projects that empower people and communities while encouraging sustainable and inclusive approaches to development.

Funding is available for projects aligned with one or more of the following key themes:

Digital Inclusion and Skills

• Helping people access the internet
• Building confidence in using digital tools
• Supporting digital skills development for all ages

Circular Economy

• Reducing waste and promoting reuse
• Supporting repair initiatives
• Encouraging sustainable use of resources

Biodiversity and Conservation

• Enhancing green spaces and local environments
• Protecting wildlife and habitats
• Supporting community-led environmental action

AI and Education

• Raising awareness and understanding of artificial intelligence
• Promoting responsible use of technology
• Supporting STEM education and learning opportunities

Who Can Apply?

The fund is open to:

• Charities
• Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs)
• Other not-for-profit organisations

To be eligible, organisations must:

• Have a governing body of at least three unrelated individuals
• Hold a UK bank account with two unrelated signatories
• Provide a safeguarding policy if the project involves children or vulnerable adults

Grants of up to £5,000 can support a wide range of community-focused activities, including:
