VCSE

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is inviting residents, community groups, and organisations to help shape the future of adult social care through their upcoming Adult Social Care Community Event 2026.

This is a valuable opportunity for the VCSE sector to share insight, influence local services, and ensure that the voices of our communities are heard.

Why this matters

Adult social care impacts many people across our communities—older adults, people with disabilities, carers, and families. As VCSE organisations, you often see first-hand the challenges people face, from accessing support to staying connected and independent.

Events like this help decision-makers better understand what is working well and where improvements are needed.

Get involved

The event is open to:

  • Local residents
  • Community and voluntary groups
  • Carers and people with lived experience
  • Anyone with an interest in adult social care
