Step Back in Time This VE Day and Support Local Therapeutic Services

This VE Day, Friday 8 May 2026, the community is invited to celebrate the spirit of the 1940s with a nostalgic fundraising afternoon in support of ME 2 U Therapeutic Services.

Taking place from 1–4pm at The Nags Head, Hornsea Road, Routh, this special event will bring the charm of wartime Britain to life. Guests can enjoy the timeless sounds of a live vintage singer, performing much‑loved classics from the era, alongside a traditional Afternoon Tea in warm and welcoming surroundings.

The afternoon is about more than nostalgia – it’s an opportunity to come together, remember, and support a local organisation dedicated to ensuring every voice is heard and every journey is valued. Whether you have memories of the era or simply enjoy its music and atmosphere, this promises to be a heart‑warming celebration of community spirit.
