The The Grocers’ Charity has opened its latest grants programme, providing one-off grants typically up to £5,000 to help organisations deliver meaningful impact within their communities.
What the Funding Supports
The Grocers’ Charity funds a broad range of causes, making this an accessible and flexible opportunity for many VCSE organisations.
Funding priorities include:
- Relief of hardship – including homelessness support, domestic abuse services and work in deprived communities
- Children and young people – building confidence, skills and wellbeing
- Older people – reducing isolation and supporting independent living
- Disability and inclusion – tackling barriers and supporting participation
- Health – including equipment, wellbeing support and medical research
- Military – support for veterans and their families
- Arts and heritage – widening access and preserving culture
- Environment and conservation – protecting habitats and tackling climate change
Who Can Apply
Applications are open to:
- UK registered charities
- Organisations with an income under £500,000
- (Medical charities may have income up to £15 million)
This makes the fund particularly well-suited to small and grassroots organisations.
