VCSE

As we move into the Easter period, we want to take a moment to recognise and celebrate what this time of year represents for many across our communities.

For those who celebrate, Easter is a time of renewal, hope and new beginnings. It offers a chance to pause, reflect and look forward with a sense of optimism. These themes resonate strongly within the VCSE sector, where so much of the work is rooted in supporting people through challenge and helping create brighter futures.

Recognising the Work You Do

Across East Riding and beyond, organisations continue to support individuals and communities, often in the most challenging circumstances. Easter is a timely reminder of the difference that compassion, collaboration and care can make.

It is also an opportunity to acknowledge the dedication of staff, volunteers and trustees who give their time and energy to support others.

A Shared Message Across Communities

Whether Easter is marked through faith, time with family, or simply the arrival of spring, its meaning often centres around:

  • Renewal and fresh starts
  • Compassion and kindness
  • Community and connection
  • Hope for the future

These are values that sit at the heart of the VCSE sector every single day.

Looking Ahead

As we move into the spring months, there is a real sense of momentum across the sector. From new partnerships and events to ongoing work supporting communities, there is much to feel hopeful about.

Easter reminds us that even in difficult times, positive change is possible. It encourages us to continue working together, supporting one another and building stronger, more connected communities.

With Best Wishes

To all those who celebrate, we wish you a peaceful and hopeful Easter.

And to everyone across the VCSE sector, thank you for the vital role you play in making a difference every day.
