VCSE

This spring, you’re invited to take part in a truly special and immersive experience — a Drum Birthing Workshop in the beautiful surroundings of Beverley, East Yorkshire.

  • Saturday 18th April 2026
  • 10:30am – 6:30pm
  •  Beverley, East Yorkshire

This full-day workshop offers a unique opportunity to create your very own drum, surrounded by nature, community, and intention.

What Is a Drum Birthing Workshop?

Drum birthing is a deeply personal and creative process. Rather than simply making an instrument, participants are guided through the experience of crafting a drum that reflects their own energy, story and rhythm.

Held outdoors and immersed in natural surroundings, the day blends practical drum-making with moments of reflection, connection and sound.

You’ll leave not only with a beautiful, handcrafted drum — but with an instrument created through your own hands and intention.

What’s Included?

The day is thoughtfully designed to support both creativity and comfort. Included in your experience:

  • All materials and equipment needed to make your drum
  • Wild, foraged and herbal teas
  • Refreshments throughout the day
  • A light vegan lunch
  • A 30–40 minute mini sound journey
  • A surprise gift bag

What to Bring

To make the most of your experience, you’re encouraged to bring anything that will help you feel comfortable and supported, such as:

  • A journal
  • Pillow or blanket
  • Crystals or meaningful objects
  • Cards or altar offerings
  • Most importantly — just bring yourself as you are.

Who Is It For?

This workshop is ideal for:

  • Those interested in sound healing or rhythm
  • People seeking a creative, mindful experience
  • Anyone wanting to connect more deeply with nature
  • Individuals looking for a meaningful one-day retreat
No prior experience is needed — just openness and curiosity.

Surrounded by Plants & Nature

Set against the peaceful landscape of East Yorkshire countryside, the workshop creates space to slow down, reconnect, and create. Participants will gather in community, supported by experienced facilitators, in a calm and welcoming environment.

Whether you are drawn to rhythm, spirituality, creativity or simply trying something new, this workshop offers a grounding and memorable experience.
