This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating a different kind of love
While Valentine’s Day is often about romance, in the VCSE world it’s also a chance to recognise something just as powerful: the everyday love shown through care, commitment and kindness.
Today, we want to say a huge thank you to:
- Volunteers who give their time freely
- Trustees who shoulder responsibility quietly
- Community leaders who show up, day after day
- Those unsung heroes who do what they love — simply because it matters
Your love looks like listening without judgement.
It looks like showing up in the cold, the rain, or after a long day at work.
It looks like supporting people when they need it most, often behind the scenes and without thanks.
That kind of love doesn’t need flowers or chocolates — it changes lives.
