Funding Opportunity: Magdalen Hospital Trust Grants 2026 – Supporting Vulnerable Young People
If your VCSE organisation works with vulnerable children and young adults, there’s a new funding opportunity you might want to explore.
The Magdalen Hospital Trust is currently accepting applications for project grants aimed at promoting the welfare of young people under the age of 25 who are affected by social deprivation, abuse, mental or physical challenges, inadequate housing, lack of education or training, and the wider impacts of unemployment or family breakdown. Eligible projects can provide direct support such as training, clubs, safeguarding education, wellbeing support, and emergency care.
What You Need to Know
- Who can apply: UK-based charities and Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs) working with vulnerable children and young adults, particularly those at risk of exploitation.
- Grant size: Typically between £500 and £2,000 for one-off, project-based costs (rather than core organisational costs).
- Project examples: Training for work and personal development, clubs and play schemes, safeguarding education, mental health support and counselling, emergency care, and similar community activities that support young people.
