Beverley Collective: Connecting & Collaborating
We were delighted to host our second Beverley Collective meeting on 2nd February at the Armstrong Centre.
The Beverley Collective brings together local people and organisations with a shared passion for supporting and strengthening their community.
Our Collective events are open to a wide mix of voices, from small community groups and town councils to keen volunteers and statutory providers all coming together to connect, share ideas, and learn from one another.
This session focused on joint funding bids, exploring how organisations can work collaboratively to strengthen applications, share capacity, and make the most of collective expertise.
It sparked some really thoughtful conversations about partnership working and the power of collaboration in challenging funding environments.
Alongside this, we held an open space session, giving attendees the chance to:
- Promote upcoming events
- Share challenges their organisation is currently facing
- Seek ideas, solutions, and support from others in the room
The openness and generosity of the discussions really reflected the spirit of the Collective — a supportive space where challenges are shared and tackled together.
