The Sasha Foundation has opened its latest grants round, offering support for projects that make a real difference to young people facing mental health challenges across the UK.

Funding Focus: Young People and Mental Health

The Foundation is particularly keen to fund initiatives that work with young people experiencing:

  • Depression
  • Mental health issues
  • Drug-related challenges

This focus reflects the growing need for accessible, community‑based support for young people navigating complex mental health pressures.

Grant Amounts and Eligibility

Typical grants are up to £10,000, and at most up to 50% of the total project cost. This makes the fund ideal for organisations that can leverage match funding or combine resources to deliver impactful programmes.

Funding can support a variety of activities, including:

  • New projects
  • Ongoing programmes
  • One‑off initiatives

The Sasha Foundation prioritises grassroots community groups and small-to-medium voluntary organisations, recognising their vital role in early intervention, localised care, and trusted support for young people.

Additional Funding Interests

While its UK focus, centres on young people’s mental health, the Foundation also supports work internationally. Globally, it funds education and healthcare initiatives, with a particular emphasis on improving educational opportunities for young women in the developing world.

Application Deadline

The Foundation’s trustees meet at least twice a year to review applications.

Next application deadline: 1 April 2026
