Funding Opportunities for Horticultural Projects Across the UK
Are you passionate about gardening, horticulture, or botany? If so, there’s an exciting opportunity for individuals, organisations, and institutions across the UK to secure funding for projects that make a real impact in these areas.
Grants are available to support projects of significance to horticulture that benefit the public. This can include a wide range of initiatives, such as:
- Restoring gardens of historic interest
- Developing new public gardens
- Training schemes for gardeners
- Exhibitions, publications, and research
- Plant conservation expeditions
- Study visits for horticulturists or botanists
Applications will also be considered for horticultural therapy projects, provided they have a clear horticultural purpose, involve qualified horticultural therapists, and demonstrate professional horticultural practice. Projects primarily aimed at social welfare, socio-economic development, or general physical or mental health will not qualify.
Grants are awarded twice a year, giving you multiple opportunities to bring your horticultural vision to life.
The next application deadline is 15 February 2026. Don’t miss your chance to secure funding and make a lasting impact through horticulture.
