MSE Charity’s Winter Grant Round Opens 19 January 2026
Good news for small UK-based not-for-profit organisations! The MSE Charity, funded by Money Saving Expert, is opening its Winter Grant Round from 19 January to 26 January 2026.
Twice a year, the MSE Charity offers a small number of grants to organisations that are helping people think, behave, and manage their money more effectively. These grants are designed to make a lasting impact on financial capability across the UK.
What’s Available?
- Grant size: £2,000 – £10,000
- Number of grants: Fewer than 10 in this round
- Money management workshops
- Training volunteers to deliver workshops or provide peer support
- Upskilling staff to deliver financial capability support
- Providing access to financial inclusion activities for disadvantaged groups, including people affected by age, disability, ethnicity, or gender
Who Can Apply?
Eligible organisations include:
- UK-registered charities
- Community Interest Companies (CICs)
- Credit unions
- Not-for-profit companies limited by guarantee
- Social enterprises
Requirements:
- Must be UK-based and active for at least 18 months
- Annual income between £10,000 – £600,000
- A governing document and a governing body of at least three unconnected individuals
- A bank account in the organisation’s name
How to Apply
The application process is two-stage. Stage one opens 19 January and closes 26 January 2026 at 17:00.
