Exciting news for community groups passionate about nature! The Grow Wild Community Programme is offering around 23 grants of up to £2,000 to help not-for-profit organisations across the UK transform urban spaces for the benefit of both people and wildlife.

If your group wants to bring more UK native plants or fungi into your community, this is the perfect opportunity to make it happen. Projects should focus on enhancing biodiversity through planting and growing, be led by environmentally conscious groups, use sustainable practices, and aim to engage at least 300 people.

  • Young people aged 12–25
  • People experiencing disadvantage or reduced access to services
  • People who are less engaged in their local community

  • Disabled people

What can the grant cover?

  • Seeds, plants, and soil
  • Materials for planting or workshops
  • Event or workshop charges
  • Specialist experts or contractor costs
