Help shape the future of adult social care in East Riding
Adult social care touches many lives across East Riding – whether you’re someone who uses support, a carer, a family member, a volunteer, or part of a VCSE organisation working in the community.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is currently developing a new Adult Social Care Strategic Plan, alongside other related strategies, and they want to hear directly from residents and communities to help shape what comes next.
Why your voice matters
Adult social care plays a vital role in helping people:
- Live well and stay independent
- Maintain dignity, choice, and control
- Feel connected to their communities
To make sure future plans reflect what really matters to people, the council is inviting service users, carers, families, community members, VCSE organisations, stakeholders and staff to share their views.
Your experiences, insights, and values will help shape a strategy that:
- Puts people at the heart of care
- Promotes dignity, choice, and independence
- Responds to changing needs and future challenges
This survey may take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete, depending on your responses. You don’t need to finish it all at once if you're completing it online, you can return later and pick up where you left off.
If you need support, you can ask a family member or someone you trust to help you complete the questionnaire

This is a real opportunity to influence the future direction of adult social care in East Riding. Every response helps ensure services are shaped by the people and communities they are meant to support.
