Hornsea Connect: Bringing Our Community Together 26th Jan 2026

A new, fun and community-focused event is coming to Hornsea this January, and everyone is invited to take part.

Hornsea Connect is designed to bring together residents, local providers, voluntary organisations and activity groups to showcase the wide range of opportunities available in and around the Hornsea area. Whether you’re looking to get more active, meet new people, or find out what’s happening locally, this event is a great place to start.

The event is being delivered in partnership with Active Communities and local partners, with support from East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

What to expect

Hornsea Connect will showcase a variety of leisure, wellbeing and community activities available locally. Attendees can:

• Discover local clubs, groups and services
• Talk directly to providers and organisers
• Learn about opportunities to get active and involved
• Connect with others in a relaxed, welcoming environment

This is a drop-in style event, so you can come along at any point between 4pm and 7pm.

Who is it for?

Hornsea Connect is open to everyone — residents of all ages, VCSE organisations, community groups, and anyone interested in strengthening local connections. It’s particularly valuable for people who may not know what activities or support are available locally.
