Cuppa & Chat in Bridlington: Support for Parent Carers of Children and Young People with SEND

Parent carers in the Bridlington area are warmly invited to a relaxed and informal Cuppa & Chat session this January — a chance to connect, be heard, and access support in a friendly, welcoming space.

On Wednesday 21 January, from 11.30am to 1.00pm, East Yorkshire Parent Carer Forum will be co-hosting this event alongside The Well at their new satellite hub in Bridlington 

This session is designed specifically for parent carers of children and young people with SEND, offering a supportive environment to:

• Enjoy a cuppa and informal conversation
• Share experiences with other parent carers
• Receive advice, support and signposting
• Speak with representatives from the Local Authority, including teams involved in Short Breaks and the Local Offer
• This is the first of a series of co-hosted sessions, and organisers are keen to welcome as many parent carers as possible.

To help make attendance easier, EYPCF can cover the cost of childcare and travel expenses (with proof of receipt), ensuring financial barriers don’t prevent families from taking part
