VCSE

In 2024, we launched the Inclusion Health Champions Scheme in East Riding, bringing together passionate staff and volunteers from all sectors to improve health outcomes for Inclusion Health Groups—those most affected by health inequalities. Over the past year, our champions have shared best practices, built meaningful connections, supported awareness sessions, and contributed to the Inclusion Health Needs Assessment for East Riding.

Now, we’re excited to announce that the scheme is expanding across Humber and North Yorkshire (HNY)!

This growth will:

  • Increase diversity and expertise by welcoming champions from all HNY localities.
  • Foster collaboration and partnerships across different areas.
  • Reflect real working patterns, as many champions already operate beyond East Riding.

Why Become an Inclusion Health Champion?

Joining the network offers a chance to:

  • Develop skills and knowledge in inclusion health best practice.
  • Drive positive change as part of a collaborative community.
  • Access training, events, and resources, plus optional opportunities to contribute to projects and initiatives.
