HEY Charity Awards 2026 – Nominate Someone Amazing!

Do you know a charity, community group, volunteer team, funder, or leader in Hull and East Yorkshire who goes above and beyond to make a difference? If so, now’s the time to recognise their incredible work! The HEY Charity Awards are back — celebrating the people and organisations transforming lives, building stronger communities, and inspiring change across our region. 

This year’s Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday 22 May 2026 at the MKM Stadium, and nominations are free — so please take a moment to put forward someone truly deserving. Every shortlisted nominee receives two free tickets to the awards night! 

Nominations close on Friday 28 February 2026. So don’t wait — submit your nomination now via the online form.

• Inclusion Award: For organisations that champion equality and ensure everyone feels welcome and included. 
• Health & Wellbeing Award: For services that improve physical or mental wellbeing, especially for people facing health challenges. 
• Newcomer Award: For newer charities or groups (set up within the last two years) that are already making a real impact. 
• Special Recognition: For someone who goes above and beyond in service, dedication, or community spirit — not covered by other categories.
