Join a New Specialist Interest Group: Palliative and End-of-Life Care in Dementia
Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust invite you to join a new Specialist Interest Group within the EMPOWER Dementia Network+, focused on Palliative and End-of-Life Care in Dementia.
This group will bring together individuals and organisations with a shared interest in improving understanding, research, practice and policy relating to palliative and end-of-life care for people living with dementia and those who care for them.
Who Can Get Involved?
You are warmly encouraged to join if you are:
- A researcher interested in, or currently working on, palliative and end-of-life care in dementia
- A community, VCSE or care organisation providing palliative or end-of-life support to people affected by dementia, or with an interest in this area
- A person with lived experience of dementia, including carers, with an interest in palliative and end-of-life care
About the Group
The Specialist Interest Group will meet online, offering a supportive space to:
- Share experiences, insights and expertise
- Explore opportunities for collaboration, including future research
- Exchange learning and good practice across sectors
As the group develops, we also hope to host webinars and other knowledge-sharing events.
