VCSE

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to invite you to take part in a new Specialist Interest Group within the EMPOWER Dementia Network+, focusing on Creative Methods of Co-Production in Dementia Research.

This new group will bring together people and organisations who share an interest in using creative and inclusive approaches to co-production. The aim is to support meaningful involvement of people living with dementia and their carers in shaping research, policy and practice.

Who Is the Group For?

You are warmly invited to join if you are:

  • A researcher interested in, or currently using, creative methods to support co-produced research with people affected by dementia
  • A community or VCSE organisation using – or keen to explore – creative methods when working with people affected by dementia in local communities
  • A person with lived experience of dementia, including carers, with an interest in creative approaches to involvement and co-production

What to Expect

The Specialist Interest Group will meet online and will provide a supportive space to:

  • Share experiences, ideas and expertise
  • Explore opportunities for collaboration, including future research
  • Learn from others working creatively in dementia research and engagement

As the group develops, we also plan to host webinars and other knowledge-sharing events.
