Investment Announced for Withernsea and Bridlington Path & Road Upgrades
Significant improvements are coming to Withernsea and Bridlington as part of planned investment in local infrastructure.
Withernsea – £200,000 Investment
A total of £200,000 is being invested to upgrade the pathways along the A1033 Queen Street, between Station Road and the mini roundabout near the Tesco store. These upgrades will help improve accessibility, safety, and overall usability for pedestrians.
During the construction period, temporary traffic lights will be installed on the affected road to control traffic.
Access to properties within the works area will be maintained throughout the project, however delays are possible.
Bridlington – £70,000 Investment
In Bridlington, a further £70,000 is being invested to upgrade the road and pathways along Grange Road. The planned work aims to enhance safety for all road users and support smoother travel around the town.
To enable the work to be carried out safely, Grange Road will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the construction part.
Start Date: Both improvement projects are scheduled to begin on Monday, 1 December.
These upgrades represent a positive step in improving local infrastructure and ensuring safer, more accessible routes for residents, visitors, and local businesses.
