Calling All Young Carers – NHS England Wants to Hear From You!
Are you a young carer?
Do you support someone at home because they are ill, disabled, or struggling with their mental health or addiction?
Your voice matters — and NHS England wants to hear from you.
NHS England, the Department of Health and Social Care, the Department for Education, and a group of young carers are working together to improve the lives of young carers across England. To make meaningful change, they need to understand what really matters to you and what your experience has been like in school, in health settings, and at home.
Why Your Voice Matters
Many young carers aren’t identified by their school or health services, and not everyone gets the support they need. These workshops are an opportunity to help shape better systems, better support, and better recognition of the vital role young carers play.
Join a Young Carer–Led Online Workshop
These sessions are led by young carers, for young carers. They’re a safe space to share your experiences and ideas.
Workshop Dates:
- 16 December 2025 – 4pm–5pm and 6pm–7pm
- 17 December 2025 – 6pm–7pm
- 6 January 2026 – 4pm–5pm and 6pm–7pm
