NHS Health Start UPDATE

NHS Healthy Start helps with the cost of vegetables, fruit, pulses, cow's milk, infant formula and free Health Start vitamins. People are sent a Healthy Start card with money on it that they can use in some UK shops. Benefit is added onto this card every 4 weeks.

From April 2026

• Payments for children aged one to four years and people who are more than 10 weeks pregnant will increase to £4.65 per week.
  
  
• Payments for children under one year old will increase to £9.30 per week.
