While we might not be able to fly to Brazil for COP this year, that won’t stop us from making our voices heard and taking action right here at home!

On Saturday 15th November, Hull and East Riding Friends of the Earth are inviting the community to come together for a local litter pick and parade, showing solidarity with people across the world who are calling for urgent action on climate and nature.

We’ll meet at Abbey Street Park at 12:00pm to start our litter pick. From there, we’ll parade along Brazil Street, Holderness Road, and make our way to Rooted in Hull, tidying up our streets as we go.

This isn’t just about cleaning up litter — it’s about coming together as a community to show that small, local actions add up to something powerful. Together, we can protect our planet and make Hull a cleaner, greener place to live.

Everyone is welcome!

Dress colourfully or as your favourite animal to celebrate the diversity of life we’re working to protect. We’ll provide litter picks and banners, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.

Meet at: Abbey Street Park

Time: 12:00pm

Route: We’ll start with a litter pick in the park, then parade along Brazil Street and Holderness Road, finishing at Rooted in Hull — collecting litter and spreading positive energy as we go!

Join us in solidarity on this global day of action — let’s show the world that Hull and East Riding care about our planet.
