WCIT Charity Accepting Applications for First 2026 Funding Round

The WCIT Charity (Worshipful Company of Information Technologists Charity) is inviting applications for its first 2026 funding round. Grants of up to £15,000 are available for educational establishments and not-for-profit organisations across the UK delivering innovative IT-related projects.

About the Fund

The WCIT Charity supports initiatives that use technology to make a positive social impact. Funding is available under the following themes:

  • Education
  • Inclusion
  • IT for Charities
  • Understanding of IT

Projects may include the development and delivery of new digital services, training, apps, analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, or accessibility features and hardware.

What They’re Looking For

The WCIT Charity is keen to support:

  • Projects where WCIT is a material or sole funder.
  • Projects where WCIT funds the IT component of a larger initiative.
  • Organisations that could benefit from pro bono IT support.

Proposals should demonstrate an innovative use of IT, with the potential for scalability and long-term sustainability.

Grant amount: Up to £15,000

Deadline for next round: 6 February 2026

Frequency: Applications considered at four committee meetings per year
