Arnold Clark’s Communities Support Fund Accepting UK Applications

Up to £1,000 Within 50 miles of a branch Open – rolling

Arnold Clark, the UK’s largest independently owned, family-run car retailer, has been supporting local communities through its Community Support Fund since 2021.

The fund is open now to UK registered charities and community groups operating within 50 miles of an Arnold Clark branch. Grants of up to £1,000 are available, with preference given to smaller voluntary and community organisations.

What the funding can support

  • Pet welfare – help with pet bills, animal shelters, or therapy animals (case-by-case).
  • Arts & culture – transport, resources, venue hire, or licences for creative groups.
  • Community enhancement – defibrillators, play parks, community gardens, galas and events.
  • Disability – sensory resources, equipment and adaptations, group trips.
  • Educational training / advancement – PTA resources, school fairs, uniform poverty, extracurricular needs.
  • Sustainability projects – clean‑ups, recycling programmes, urban gardening, eco initiatives.
  • Mental health support – local groups, networks and events focused on wellbeing.
  • Relief support organisations – emergency service aid, cancer or illness support groups.
  • Equality & diversity – programmes that promote inclusion and community cohesion.
  • Youth clubs & groups – Brownies, Scouts, Guides, Sea Cadets, Cubs, sports and dance clubs can apply for up to £750 for trips, venue hire and materials.
