Postcode Neighbourhood Trust – Final Round of 2025 Opens

The Postcode Neighbourhood Trust has announced its final funding round of 2025, with some key changes designed to provide greater flexibility and long-term support to organisations across the North of England.

What’s New in This Round?

  • Multi-year funding: Organisations can now apply for up to three years of support.
  • Grant size: Up to £50,000 spread across a three-year period.
  • Eligible organisations: Must have an annual income between £10,000 and £1 million, and be one of the following:
    • Registered Charity
    • Community Interest Company (CIC) with an asset lock (Schedule 1 and 2 only)
    • Community Benefit Society

Funding Priorities

Applications must focus on one or more of these four themes:

  • Preventing or reducing the impact of poverty
  • Enabling participation in the arts
  • Supporting marginalised groups and tackling inequality
  • Improving mental health (focused on specific mental health issues)

Priority Will Be Given To

  • Organisations with an income under £250,000
  • Projects working in communities ranked in the top 15% of the English Index of Multiple Deprivation
  • Organisations focused on supporting marginalised groups (e.g. disabled people, racially minoritised communities, LGBT+ people)
  • Areas that have not received recent funding from the Trust

Applications open: 25 September 2025

Deadline: 6 October 2025 (noon)

The unrestricted multi-year funding is designed to give charities and community organisations the flexibility to grow stronger, build resilience, and deepen their impact in local communities.
