Funding Opportunity: Leeds Building Society Foundation Grants
The Leeds Building Society Foundation is inviting applications for its final round of small capital grants in 2025. The programme supports UK registered charities working with people in need of a safe and secure home.
What Projects Can Apply?
Charities can apply for funding if their work addresses one or more of these themes:
- Financial stress – projects helping with bills, debt management or financial pressures.
- Security and refuge – initiatives supporting emergency accommodation.
- Quality and suitability of housing.
- Health and wellbeing support for those experiencing homelessness (as part of wraparound care alongside another theme).
Approach and Values
Applications are particularly welcome from organisations taking a Housing First and/or relationship-based approach. The Foundation encourages evidence of:
- Strength-based practice
- Trauma-informed care
- Psychologically informed environments
Grant Details
Grant size: £250 – £1,000
Eligible organisations: UK registered charities with an annual turnover under £1 million
Purpose: Capital expenditure only (items directly helping beneficiaries)
Applications open: 12 August 2025
Deadline: 3 November 2025
Decision meeting: Early December 2025
