Electrical Safety Fund - Open for applications
Electrical Safety First is inviting applications for its 2025 Electrical Safety Fund, offering grants of up to £5,000 for projects that help reduce electrical risks in UK homes.
What Can Be Funded?
- Funding is available for projects and activities such as:
- Product testing and replacement events
- Awareness-raising campaigns
- Home safety visits
- Educational events and workshop
For home repair and direct intervention projects, support is limited to minor electrical work for owner-occupiers who cannot afford repairs and meet one of the following criteria:
- Living with a child under five
- Of state pension age (living alone or with others)
- Disabled or chronically ill (living alone or with others)
- Living with others who are disabled, chronically ill, under 18, or of pension age
Priorities for 2025
This year’s fund will prioritise projects supporting vulnerable demographics, for example:
- Translating and sharing safety materials with refugees or migrant groups
- Creating tailored resources for people with additional needs
