Northern Powergrid Foundation's Community Grants Open for Autumn Round
The Northern Powergrid Foundation is offering grants of £1,000 to £20,000 to support local communities across North East England, Yorkshire, and North Lincolnshire.
Focus of this Round This funding round is centred on community energy resilience, helping communities prepare for and manage power disruptions.
Projects could include:
- Installing solar panels and battery storage at community hubs
- Strengthening facilities to ensure vital services continue during planned or unplanned power outages
- Expanding or upgrading community halls, parish halls, and hubs to provide safe, warm spaces in times of need
Who Can Apply?
A wide range of organisations are eligible, including:
- Parish councils
- Village halls
- Community hubs and centres
- Community associations, trusts, and partnerships
