Comic Relief Community Fund
Comic Relief has launched its 2025/26 Community Fund, offering grants of up to £5,000 to support small, grassroots, community-led organisations in England with an annual income of less than £250,000.
What the Fund SupportsThe fund is designed to help organisations working with people living in, or at risk of, poverty and hardship. Grants can be used for core costs, project costs, or a combination of both, with flexibility to support the vital work of local groups.
Funding priorities include:
- Tackling urgent impacts of poverty
- Foodbanks, community kitchens, and shelters
- Welfare advice services
- Health outreach projects
- Empowering communities for long-term change
- Building skills and access to employment
- Strengthening financial resilience
- Supporting community-led solutions
Key Details Applicants must be based in the area where activities are delivered Around 120 grants will be awarded in this round
Projects must finish by 30 September 2026 Applications from areas with higher Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) scores may be prioritized This is the only funding round for 2025/26, and it is expected to be highly competitive
