Constituted, not-for-profit organisations, local authorities, and environmental bodies enrolled with ENTRUST can apply for capital funding to improve community facilities and the natural environment in communities located near qualifying Veolia sites across England.
Grant Programmes
- Community Grants (£10,000–£75,000): Capital improvement/construction at a single site, such as community buildings and spaces, outdoor areas, play and recreation, or installing fixed items (for example, kitchen units and work surfaces).
- Habitat & Biodiversity Grants (£10,000–£75,000): Structural improvements for a single habitat to conserve, restore, and enhance threatened habitats and protect or increase biodiversity.
Funding Priorities
- Protect and enhance biodiversity and natural habitats.
- Inspire the creation of sustainable, carbon-neutral spaces.
- Promote community action and wellbeing.
- Ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all users.

Limited funding is available each round, and awards are made to projects that best match the Trust’s priorities. There are typically four funding rounds per year.
