HAF Christmas Holiday Grants 2025 – Apply Now
It might be the middle of summer, but we’re already looking ahead to Christmas – because that’s how funding timelines work! The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Christmas 2025 grant scheme is now open, and we’re encouraging local groups and organisations to apply.
If you know a group that could deliver fun, engaging and enriching activities for children and young people over the Christmas holidays, please pass this on.
Who can apply?
- Charities and voluntary organisations
- Schools
- Town and parish councils
- Faith groups
- Businesses
What funding is available?
Organisations can apply for up to £5,000 to deliver four-hour sessions including a healthy meal for children and young people in receipt of benefits-related free school meals.
Funding can be used for:
- Management and staff delivery
- Equipment and venue hire
- Food provision
- Marketing
- Capital costs
- Volunteer expenses
- Excursions
What kind of sessions?
HAF grants can part-fund programmes open to all children, or fully-fund those exclusively for eligible families. Possible activities include:
- Sport and play
- Drama, music, and arts & crafts
- Cooking and healthy lifestyles
- Outdoor adventure
- Animal experiences
- …and much more!
